Study Tracks
Study Tracks: requirements and credits
- MSc program:
The School of Electrical Engineering offers two Tracks for the MSc degree:
- The Research Track – requiring 24 credit points plus a Research Thesis equal to 12 hours of study.
- The Project Track – requiring 36 credit points plus a project of 3 credit points.
Generally, students are admitted to the Project Track. They may transfer to the Research Track if there is a Faculty member who agrees to be their Thesis Advisor. Fulltime students can study only in the Research Track.
Students in both Tracks must complete all courses with a minimal average grade of 75.
- PhD program:
Requirements and terms for PhD studies are presented in the Regulations of the PhD Committee of each unit. All courses in the graduate curriculum are open to PhD students.
